The NEOF-VF now operates a structured application cycle with three application rounds throughout the year; this will help us improve the efficiency of the consultation and review processes.
The NEOF Visitor Facility will be open to new NEOF-VF enquiries from 1st to 30th July 2026. During this compulsory consultation period, applicants will send a draft of their NEOF Project Details form and NEOF-VF Appendix to the NEOF-VF manager in order to proceed with their application.
The NEOF-VF team will provide support with applications based on these draft forms and issue the NEOF quote during August.
Applicants will then submit their access request ahead of the submission deadline of 28th August 2026.
Please note that the NEOF-Visitor Facility is NOT available for new enquiries or project discussions outside of these timeframes.
The Steering Committee will review applications during September and October, with decisions expected to reach PIs early November or sooner. The reviewing of applications typically takes 2 months but can take longer during busy periods.
